Bhikkhunī's visit of Bhikkhu Sīlavansa in Austria

Bhikkhunī Visuddhi Therī and Libor Šulák, the head of Prague Center Lotus, visited Theravāda Buddhist Center in Vienna on the weekend of 24.-26.February 2017. Respected senior Sri Lankan monk, Venerable Bhikkhu Sīlavansa, who is the main teacher residing in the center, welcomed both of them.

Bhikkhunī was greeted by three Sri Lankan practitioners and offered tea, right after entering this beautiful space. The center is very unexpectedly located in the middle of a busy street in Vienna. Yet, the beautiful palace-like space is serene and one could breath in a calming atmosphere of the presence of the Dhamma. Bhikkhunī and Libor were here on an important mission: to discuss details of  a collective invitation of venerable Bhante Pemasiri, who may be visiting Austria, Czech Republic (ārāma Karuṇā Sevena) and Slovakia in June. Bhikkhu Sīlavansa knows Bhante Pemasiri very well and is also one of his students. Everything looks very good, so far! We will inform you once we know more details.
